I'm a writer/director for the stage and screen, and teaching artist local to the D.C. area.
I graduated from George Mason University with a B.F.A. in Theater with concentrations in Performance (acting and directing) and Playwriting/Screenwriting and Dramaturgy. Since graduating I have directed (and occasionally acted in) stage productions for a variety of theatre companies within the D.C. area, and beyond. I have also written and directed independent short films that have screened at festivals across the United States. I'm a trained teaching artist, leading drama classes for both young people and adults to develop their confidence and find their voice through performance. As a practitioner of many crafts, I consider myself a theatre artist and filmmaker with a special focus in writing and directing for the stage and screen, I have a special interest in telling stories that prominently feature women and other underrepresented groups. I strongly believe that establishing equal representation in theatre and film remains vital to securing a more equitable and vibrant future for the entertainment industry. |
