I am a theatre artist, filmmaker, and teaching artist local to the D.C. area.
I graduated from George Mason University with a B.F.A. in Theatre with concentrations in Performance (acting and directing) and Playwriting/Screenwriting and Dramaturgy.
Since graduating I have directed and even acted in productions for a variety of theatre companies and festivals within the D.C. area, and beyond.
I recently expanded my scope of work by bridging into the world of film by writing and directing for the screen.
I am also a trained teaching artist, where I lead acting classes for both young people and adults to develop their confidence and help them find their voice through the performing arts.
As a practitioner of many crafts, I ultimately consider myself a theatre artist and filmmaker with a special focus in writing and directing for the stage and screen, I have a special interest in telling stories for both theatre and film that prominently feature women and other underrepresented groups. I strongly believe that establishing equal representation in theatre and film remains vital to securing a more equitable and vibrant future for the entertainment industry.
